Description
(a) WE GRADE THE VINYL AS NERA MINT MINUS (NM-). The vinyl looks ipecac able. The original luster is completely intact, and the vinyl still shines and sparkles like new.
(b) The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!
(c) Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
(d) We grade the cover as EXCELLENT (EXC). There is extremely minor ware. The spine in in excellent shape. This is a thick cardboard gatefold cover, American style.
(e) Original black, red & white IMPULSE RECORDS deep groove label with black text.
(f) Original time appropriate Impulse inner sleeve.
(g) "VAN GELDER" (Rudy Van Gelder) is machine stamped on both sides IN THE DEADWAX AREA
(h) Machine stamped matrix number.
See pics for any details and/or defects.
