YUSEF LATEEF: "PRAYER TO THE EAST" LP - On SAVOY Records, MG-12117. Very rare vintage '57 jazz Lp! Original MONO 1st pressing with the classic dark red DEEP GROOVE labels. RVG stamped in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Yusef Lateef/tenor sax, flute; Wilbur Hardin/fleugelhorn; Hugh Lawson/piano; Ernie Farrow/bass; Oliver Jackson/drums. The vinyl is in EX+ condition (beautiful sheen)!! The thick laminated cover is in VG+ shape & displays nicely. Minor 1" seam split at bottom right edge. Small # written on back at top right corner. No cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.
