About This Items
- This is the second album released in 1979 by the techno group Yellow Magic Orchestra, which Japan is proud of worldwide. The phrases in the intro “TOKIO!” using a vocoder and the mysterious melody with an ethnic atmosphere of “TECHNOPOLIS” are impressive, and “ABSOLUTE EGO DANCE” was created by incorporating elements of Okinawan music, Indian songs and disco. a huge hit that even involved elementary, junior high and high school students, “RYDEEN”, “CASTALIA” and “INSOMNIA”, which highlighted the deep side of YMO, “BEHIND THE MASK”, which is also known for being covered by Eric Clapton and Michael Jackson, “DAY TRIPPER”, a cover of a famous song by The Beatles, including “Solid State Survivor”, which features the brilliant guitar playing of Makoto Ayukawa, this is a masterpiece that made YMO famous around the world.
