Description

Artist: Yes Title: Close To The Edge Label: Atlantic Cat No: K50012 Year: 1972 Country: UK
I am in the process of selling my Record Collection which I have gathered over 50 years. I always tried to get the best copies I could find. This is the original 1972 UK Pressing of Close To The Edge by UK Progressive Rock Band Yes on the Green/Orange Atlantic label it comes with its original textured gatefold sleeve and the hard to find inner lyric sleeve
Vinyl (NM) On first viewing this album looks unplayed (No visible spindle lines at all) even under bright halogen lights I can only see just the lightest of sleeve removal scuffs. On play  it sounds great to my ears with only a few clicks, no sticks or jumps and no feelable scratches, A really nice copy!!
Sleeve (EX) - Original 1972 textured gatefold sleeve with Embossed logo on front shows some light wear (Please see photos for complete overview)
Inserts (VG++) - comes with its original rare lyric inner sleeve (often missing) unusually this one is complete without any knifing (see photos)
Labels: clean labels showing no visible spindle lines at all (Looks Unplayed)

I am in the process of selling lots of obscure & rare Records/CD`s, I will be posting regularly why not check them out!

I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover

I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
