There have been so few vinyl LPs produced over the last 5 years that you should never pass up the opportunity to upgrade your collection. They're each very limited in their pressings and disappear with extraordinary quickness from the vinyl market. This causes prices to skyrocket because once they are gone, they are gone forever! Don't second-guess yourself with this chance to upgrade your collection because before you know it, the opportunity will have passed forever.

THE YES ALBUM - 180 GRAM FACTORY SEALED -  Yes, formed in 1968, has been the dominant force in progressive rock for over three decades and has created some of rock's most enduring and compelling hits. To date, they've sold over 30 million albums worldwide. This record marked Steve Howe's debut and includes the "Starship Trooper" and "I've Seen All Good People"/"Your Move..." suites, along with other anchors of the Yes live show. Remastered, pressed on premium 180-gram heavy vinyl and packaged in the original gatefold jacket.

DRAMA - 180 GRAM SEALED NEW BUT NOT THE TRADITIONAL COMPLETE PLASTIC WRAP USED BY THIS AUDIOPHILE COMPANY -  The year 1980 was an interesting one for the legendary prog-rockers Yes. While the Close To The Edge lineup was taking a break for a few years, founding member Chris Squire maintained the legendary status of the band along with longtime bandmates Steve Howe and Alan White, with new members Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes and created the hard-rocking masterpiece Drama. A bit of a departure from the more classically oriented feel of previous efforts, this album slammed all the way to the top of the rock charts. From the kick off track "Machine Messiah," Yes was a new entity with a lot of guts, flair for delivering a hit album and a darling of a new video medium thanks to the support of outlets like MTV

YES BBC SESSIONS - 180 GRAM 2 LP SET -  Although Yes' fans would cite the early '70s as the band's most classic period, these early BBC radio sessions give listeners a glimpse of what led up to that classic sound that so defined the progressive era. These recordings also represent the only live release to feature the original Yes lineup. Includes and amazing version of "Every Little Thing" plus dramatic cover versions of the Beatles and Stephen Stills, and the rare Yes original - and previously unreleased - "For Everyone." Gatefold, 180-gram vinyl

RELAYER - 180 GRAM SEALED NEW BUT NOT THE TRADITIONAL COMPLETE PLASTIC WRAP USED BY THIS AUDIOPHILE COMPANY -

Right in time for the holidays, Friday Music continues its extensive Yes 180-gram audiophile vinyl series with their masterpiece Relayer. Presented for the first time on audiophile vinyl, this amazing album hit the Top 5 in 1975 and continued their trek to the world stadiums and stages for the next several years. This time around, longtime members Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Steve Howe and Alan White welcome superstar keyboard sensation Patrick Moraz for his one and only album with the band. Three lengthy tracks made this the LP of choice for progressive radio stations that year, with "Gates Of Delirium," "Sound Chaser" and "To Be Over" all receiving heavy airplay. Roger Dean's gatefold cover is also presented, as well as the sound and mastering you have come to expect from Friday Music.

TIME AND A WORD -  180 GRAM SEALED NEW BUT NOT THE TRADITIONAL COMPLETE PLASTIC WRAP USED BY THIS AUDIOPHILE COMPANY -

Yes' second album was a transitional effort; the group trying for a more produced and sophisticated sound through the use of an orchestra. Even so, the results weren't conventional, because the group didn't tone down or turn down its sound. Much of Time and a Word relies on bold, highly animated performances by Bill Bruford, Chris Squire and Tony Kaye. Additionally, by this time the group was developing a much tauter ensemble than was evident on their first LP, so there's no lack of visceral excitement.

CLOSE TO THE EDGE -

Yes, the definitive force in classic and prog rock music released this masterwork in 1972. Way ahead of its time in message, packaging, sound and musicianship, Friday Music couldn't think of a nicer way to start off their new series of Yes on 180-gram vinyl. Close To The Edge includes the 18-plus-minute title track, "And You And I" and "Siberian Khatru," which of course feature the masterful talents of Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe and Bill Bruford. Half-speed mastered by Joe Reagoso and at Capitol Studios

Propelled by the timeless hit "Roundabout," Yes' fourth album, Fragile, became an instant classic and is undoubtedly one of prog-rock's finest moments. It was the first Yes record to feature Rick Wakeman on keyboards and the first to display the inimitable artwork of Roger Dean. And it's now been remastered by the incomparable team of Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman at AcousTech Mastering. Typical of Kevin and Steve's work, this version of Fragile is warmer, richer and airier than the 1971 original. Rediscover a classic.

By far the most successful and enduring progressive rock group ever, Yes have been navigating the sonic stratosphere for more than three decades. Weathering myriad personnel changes and as many musical trends, their popularity has endured like granite. As Q Magazine put it, Yes are "the long haired dads of Radiohead."

The set comes packaged in a 12" X 12" box, with a 32-page booklet containing color photos and liner notes by Bob Kaus of Atlantic records. The artwork on the box, as well as the jewel boxes and the discs themselves, is by Roger Dean, whose prior credits include Yes LPs - Fragile, Close To The Edge, Tales Of Topographic Oceans, Relayer and others. This extensive box includes not only a fine mixture of classics and less familiar songs, but plenty of previously unheard material as well. Along the way, YESYEARS manages to encapsulate the band's career. Yes was one of the first progressive rock bands, achieving a perfect blend of hard-hitting rock excitement and sophisticated, classical-derived structure. Yes began by adapting other people's songs to the band's expansive, post-psychedelic style ("Every Little Thing," "Everydays"), but as the band grew more confident, it constructed ever more complex opuses full of virtuosic instrumental displays and complex shifts of meter and mood ("Starship Trooper," "Yours is no Disgrace"). The arrival of keyboard wizard Rick Wakeman meant the incorporation of elaborate synthesizer tapestries and a more extensive guitar/keyboard interplay ("Roundabout," "Close to the Edge"). By the time he was replaced by former Mainhorse/Refugee member Patrick Moraz, Yes's sound had reached its most sophisticated, abstract extremes, and the band truly earned its "art rock" tag ("Sound Chaser"). More personnel changes would ensue, and by the early '80s, Yes returned with a more stripped-down, rhythm-based sound ("Owner of a Lonely Heart"). YESYEARS covers all of this and more, with enough surprises to keep even hardcore fans on their toes.
