YATHA SIDHRA - A Meditation Mass, Orig German press on Brain (green) 1045
Not only the most amazing german record in this cosmic psychedelic field.
The band was from Freiburg and was led by Rolf Fichter, who wrote this mass, sang and played moog, electric piano, vibes, guitar and flute on it.
With him were Klaus Fichter (drums, percussion), Matthias Nicolai (12-string guitar, bass), and Peter Elbracht (flute).
The mainly instrumental music is relaxing and has some very prominent flute parts. Achim Reichel wrote a poem for the cover.
Cover : Ex- Fold-out die-cut cover is very fragile but all letters intact except for fold marks across the centrepieces of the letters large"M". Tear on the spine and some edges, light crease for its age.
Vinyl : Ex+ Looks M-, No marks or hairline. Very clean condition.
