From THE YARDBIRDS... a very rare UK import album of obscure recordings in MONO! The vinyl is in VG++ to M- condition. Both labels are in flawless condition with no writing or wear. The EDSEL record label # is: ED 116M. I have had this record put away and it was played twice! I recorded it on a reel to reel and have stored it since. A brilliant high gloss finish describes the vinyl with no scuffing or marks to the vinyl. The cover is in gorgeous condition with no splits to the spines or any wear to the cover. A stunning album and a brilliant play!
Without a doubt The Yardbirds were one of the most exciting and influential rock bands of the sixties. Their music was considered more adventurous than that of virtually all other groups, possessing at once an unmatched musical talent and an ability to create the most memorable of hit records. No other band covered all the musical forms that The Yardbirds worked with. What started as Rhythm & Blues (presented here in the form of "I Wish You Would" for instance), transmuted into an incredible range of style & sounds, including psychedelia, two years before most people had heard of the word.
