Welcome to another LASSEKONGO auction! Up for grabs today: Item: The Yardbirds - The Yardbirds ("Studio cover") Catalogue: Columbia SSX 1018 (black and blue label) Country/Year Sweden 1965 Condition: Ex/Ex (record/cover) I grade my records firmly! Description: This is the original first pressing of this Sweden only compilation on the black and blue Columbia. The cover is known as the "studio cover" and was shot by Dezo Hoffman. During fifteen years of collecting I've seen maybe ten copies of the second pressing from 1967, known as the "Street cover", but this is the second copy of the "Studio cover" I've ever seen. I rank it far more rare. The vinyl is in excellent condition with only some light wear from the inner sleeve. Otherwise shiny.
The cover is laminated on both sides and is amazingly shiny for a 40 year old record. Perfect spine.
Grading system: Records are graded visually. I am very firm when grading my records, and rather give them a lower grade than a higher. You should get a pleasant surprise when receiving the record and not an unpleasant one! S/S Stilled sealed from the factory. Has not been opened. M Mint. Has never been played. Record may still have sleeve dust. M- The record shows no signs of wear. The jacket or picture sleeve may have signs of slight handling. VG++VG+ Shows signs it was played, but was well cared for. The record will have most of it's original shine, and may have minor surfaces noise. The jacket or picture sleeve may show slight ring wear. VG Very Good.Surface noise will be evident, may have light scratches
