"Heart Full Of Soul" and "For Your Love"
RARE! 1965 CANADA ONLY MONO original 1st LP, Capitol T6139.
This is without a doubt one of the most desirable of all worldwide Yardbirds LP's, with a cover and track line-up both totally unique to Canada. Plus, my ears tell me, the version of "I Wish You Would" on this LP is NOT the same as the US LP nor the UK 7"....

Musically almost equally divided between Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck tracks. I find it intriguing that "For Your Love" was the reason Clapton took a walk from the Yardbirds, yet the first Cream single was "Wrapping Paper"... Oh well, I guess there WAS Mayall in between, and there was no Jack Bruce in the Yardbirds...
Back to this LP - the seams are slightly roughed up in places, with a 2" bottom center split and 1" seam worn to the cardboard at the top left with a continuing 1" of seam wear at that side. The front cover has light general wear and a slight wear ring. The back cover is soiled with soil & wear ring with a small name in ballpoint at the top right corner.
The LP plays fine with light to moderate surface noise, (mostly) light pops, etc, from visible marks that vary from superficial scuffs to clearly visible scratches. Labels are clean.
Far from mint but also extremely rare. If you're looking to fill this very difficult slot in your collection here's a copy that shouldn't cost you hundreds of dollars. Plus, the cover is the primary part of this pair.
Overall a VG+ cover and VG LP.
