Item Format: Extremely Rare Promotional Test Pressing SRC Masterdisk 12" single 33 rpm record. Artist: Y Kant Tori Read (Tori Amos) Item Title: The Big Picture Label & #: SRC/Atlantic PR 2298 Condition: Record is in Very Good Plus (VG+) Condition. Has a few light marks. A very nice and clean record. Also has a few spindle marks on the labels.

Comes housed in a plain white die-cut sleeve (which has a few small imperfections) and still in shrinwrap. Shrinkwrap has of course been opened and does have some modest tears near the open end.



Comments: Record has white labels with black text (unlike the standard promo issue of this item which has red and green Atlantic labels). Has SRC (Specialty Records Corporation) stamped logo along with the matrix number ST-PR-54620-1 etched into trailoff/runout area on both sides. Also (very, very faintly) "Masterdisk" is stamped in the trailoff/runout area on both sides. Specialty Records was formed in 1946 and taken over by Warner Bros. in 1978 (later becoming part of "WEA" - Warner - Elektra - Atlantic). The song (same on both sides) has a playing time of 4:19 and was taken from Tori's 1988 major label debut "Y Kant Tori Read". I have been collecting records for over 30 years and have never seen another one like this (and probably will not see one ever again). Could be the crowning piece to your Tori collection! Packaging
Details: -All items are shipped via US Postal Service and well packed in sturdy custom cardboard mailing boxes.

-All records are professionally packed between cardboard layers in plastic sleeves and a layer of bubblewrap is added to both sides of your item.

-Used LPs and 45s with Picture Sleeves are removed from the cover to avoid seam splits during shipping (sealed items are left sealed)

-CDs are wrapped in bubblewrap.

-I use easy to read computer printed mailing labels (except for Registered Mail as handwritten labels are required. I use Paypal labels for domestic shipments.

-All seams and labels on your package will be taped over.

Please note and understand that the costs of the high quality shipping materials (boxes filler pads, plastic sleeves, bubblewrap, tape, printer ink, labels, etc.), plus the time and effort to securely package items along with the time and gasoline for trips to the post office. These are all figured into my posted shipping rates.
