XTC Science Friction 7" (Virgin VS1SS) Signed copy with pre"Science Friction" promotional poster. I followed XTC from the time they were called Star Park and then the Helium Kids. Living in Swindon, I saw the band many times and bought the 12" when it came out. The copy I am selling is the much rarer 7" single. XTC were playing in "The Affair", in Swindon around Christmas 1977 and there was a competition and I won this signed single. It is signed by Andy and Barry (see photo).

The condition is as follows:- There are marks on both sides, there is some noise at the very start of B side, "She's so Square",and the last 30 seconds when there is background noise, A side - Science Friction plays well, a little background noise. This has been played on good quality equipment, (S.M.E tom arm, Thorens deck) so no high frequency loss, generally plays well. Comes with original white sleeve and a copy of the export sleeve (front only, see photo).

Also comes with original XTC poster, "pre Science Friction" - art work by Andy Partridge. This promotional poster came from "The Affair", main Punk venue in Swindon. This poster is extremely rare, very few were printed by the band. There might be a couple of other originals or this might be the only one! A3 size, pale blue, has drawing pins marks on it. crease across the middle and sellotape mark approx 3" long. Picture of deep sea diver "in bondage","Get Your Self in a state of XTC" says the poster!
