XTC - Mummer, Virgin OVED 142

"Mummer" delivers in all the places a "Skylarking" era fan could wish for, just not in as showy a way. This was XTC's first release since becoming a studio bound-band and the attention to detail from both songwriters is nothing if not impressive with everything from rainy sound effects to humming choirs of what sound like gods filling up the sound with multiple intricacies; with Andy and Colin keeping up with their high standards all the way through


Grading scale: NM > EX > VG+ > VG > Good > Poor)

Vinyl: NM. Looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time. The finish is shiny, with no visible defects. Labels are superb, clean and bright without marks. Spindle shows no sign of wear. And no warps.
