Description
You are bidding on a original vinyl copy of "Canticle", by Michael & Greta Blanchard, released in 1973 on Koinonia Records. Xian psych/folk/blues, with some deftly fingerpicked guitar, solid drumming, the soulful vocals of Michael Blanchard and the haunting echoed harmonies of Greta Blanchard (esp. on "Sad Song"). A beautiful document of the times, and of the values shared by the Koinonia Partners (a Christian community in Americus Georgia, who founded Habitat For Humanity). This was a tiny vanity pressing; the only other copy I remember previously seeing on E-Bay was offered by myself (the Blanchards were from Massachusetts like me), so don't expect to see too many of these around!
