Description

I purchased this album set new in the 1970's. I listened to some of it once, but couldn't get the hang of it, so it sat around until I switched to CD's at which time I gave my remaining records to my brother. He may have tried to listen to some of it, but I never received any comments from him about the music. The set came back into my possession when my brother passed away. I am reasonably certain that some of the surfaces have never felt a stylus. Visually perfect with some light dust and some specks from the record's own packaging which I have just left, rather than swipe something across the record..
I did put one of the albums on my turntable to check how the needle tracked on the unrecorded grooves of the album. As expected, the needle tracked perfectly with no motion up or down or side to side. The pressings are of a quality you would expect on a recording like this.
The box has a cool textured cloth covering which has collected some dust and light scuffing. Corners on the spine side slightly frayed but otherwise solid. The white lettering on the cover is still very bright. The front cover of the box has dished in a bit.
Inside of the case is very clean with slight rubbing against the embossed letters of the front cover.
The book (French only) is in very good condition. It's hard to imagine this booklet being in better condition after 40 years. Same for the record albums. Extremely clean.
Will be shipped, protected by an inch of styrofoam on all sides and extremely rigid, triple walled cardboard.
