THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
1963 UK MONO *FACTORY SAMPLE* LP
This UK 2nd MONO pressing dates from 1963 and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1206
The side 1 label bears genuine EMI red & white 'Factory Sample - Not For Sale' sticker.
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.
The publishing credit for song 'Money' is 'Dominion.Belinda (Ldn.) Ltd. NCB'
The track 3 title on side 2 is spelt as: 'You Really Got A Hold On Me'
An 'MKT' purchase tax code is visible around the side 1 centre.
Matrix numbers: XEX 447-7N & XEX 448-7N
Stamper codes: 3/TH & 2/GDO
Vinyl weight: 162g
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the large mono front indicator.
Track 3, side 2 is spelt 'You Really Got A Hold On Me' on the rear track-listing.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex..' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

An immaculate pair which bear just two or three tiny, faint spindle trails around the side 2 centre hole only.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are pristine and 'as new' in strong daylight with no marks, scratches or blemishes whatsoever. Closer examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen light reveals little more than a few harmless inner-sleeve removal hairlines and light storage marks but nothing at all which affects play. Both sides of this quality, heavy copy lie 100% flat both sides when playing.
Play: NEAR MINT
This copy has been barely played and the sound throughout is perfectly clean, clear & full with no hint of any groove/play wear distortion or any background noise on or between any track. Even the easily worn 'Til there Was You' plays flawlessly. There are of course no clicks, pops or any other such audible distractions. A great listen.
Cover
VERY GOOD
A respectable example which displays general handling and storage wear commensurate with its age, but no major faults. The iconic front panel is clean and un-yellowed with some small handling wrinkles and storage rubbing to the laminate but no tears anywhere. The rear panel has some minor discolouration from age & handling but is free from any writing or missing paper. Both seams are smooth and fully intact and the spine is unworn with all the text present and readable.

Clean & flat with some light storage wrinkling, but no writing, seam splits or tears.
