This EXCELLENT & early UK MONO 2nd pressing dates from the album's late 1963 release and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1206

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.

A 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 2 label.

The publishing credit for 'Money' is 'Dominion. Belinda..'

Matrix numbers: XEX 447-7N & XEX 448-7N

Stamper codes: 1/LP & 3/GAL

Vinyl weight: 166g

Housed in an early-type front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a much darker front image than later issues and a large mono front indicator.

The track listing on the rear panel has track 3 on side 2 spelt as 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me'.

Complete with an original 'Use Emitex..' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

A clean & bright pair with just some light wear to the side 2 centre hole but no other significant wear.

Visual: VERY GOOD +

Both playing surfaces are clean & bright with just a handful of light surface lines and some harmless inner-sleeve marks, but nothing I would call a scratch. Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp does little more than highlight these minor blemishes but adds no further marks or wear. Both sides of this quality, heavy copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: EXCELLENT +

A super full, clean & clear sounding copy with no trace of any groove/play wear on any of these explosive tracks. My careful play check found no clicks, pops or any other audible distractions throughout.

Cover: EXCELLENT

An extremely respectable example of this iconic cover which retains a clean and undamaged front panel with just some very light storage rubbing but no 'thumbnails' or any other significant signs of wear. There is a small bump to the front upper right corner but all others and the very fragile opening edges are undamaged. The exposed rear panel is remarkably clean with just a single tiny spot but no other blemishes to any area and certainly no writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are fully intact and all seams and the fully worded spine are smooth, unstressed & unsplit.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & crisp with some light storage wrinkles, but no writing, tears or seam splits.
