Wire 1977 PINK FLAG Original LP Harvest
Rare opportunity to acquire this one owner copy of Wire’s masterful punk debut for progressive giants Harvest Records. Purchased new from Liverpool’s Probe Records by Julian Cope, the disc was thereafter always clad in a thick clear polythene bag, ensuring that the depredations of time have not fallen upon it, indeed, both the outer and heavyweight inner bags remains crisp and clean, almost like new save for minor and very ghostly ringwear. Both sides of this loudly cut disc have just been played through and exhibited only one problem. Except for one loud pop about 20 seconds into ‘Strange’, the album is mint and clean throughout.
