Yes, It Features Hyperion Knight Playing Stravinsky’s PETROUCHKA And Beethoven’s WALDSTEIN, But On A Piano Few Of Us Have Ever Heard : A Sheldon Smith 9ft. Grand .
What’s Unique About It, Is That Its Lower Registers Are Profoundly More Rich And Robust Versus Any Other Standard And The Higher Registers Are Designed To Be Less Dampened Than What We’re Accustomed To . The End Result In The Listening Is Extraordinary And Among The Finest Piano Work You Will Ever Hear .
Recording Maestro David Wilson Captured The Playing Within The Workshop Where The Piano Was Made, And In A Fashion That Has Mr. Knight Sitting At His Stool Playing Right In Your Listening Room . (Trust Me, It Does Not Fail At This If Your System Can Muster The Sonic Courage .)
An Awesome Listening Experience, A Long Standing TAS Favorite . An LP That Is Entirely Worthy Of The Finest Vinyl Library, Eager For The Best Hi-Fi Equipment You Can Throw At It Extraordinary In Its Ability To Construct A “Sonic Picture .”
This record comes from a inherited collection of most audiophile jazz and classical that
my father spent his entire adult life putting together. All I want is for these records
to end up in the hands of someone who will appreciate them. Please message me if you're
interested in seeing a list of all the records. Because of the number of records
involved, I can only grade discs and jackets visually. I grade conservatively but
realistically: the highest grade I will give an unsealed disc whose surfaces are pristine
and unmarked is NM. A NM- grade indicates a disc with very minor visible evidence of use
(usually a minor scuff or light scratch ) that should not seriously interfere with
audition and may well be inaudible.
I AM willing to ship internationally, just message me if you plan on bidding and are out
of the country.
Payment: Payment is due within 7 days of auction close. I’ll do my best to ship all items within   24 hours of cleared payment.
