Wildstyle Soundtrack Instrumentals LP Vinyl Record. New. Unplayed. Wasn't released shrink-wrapped.

Interesting thing I learned about this soundtrack, originally only 100 copies were pressed for the D.J.'s involved in the film to use to back the M.C.'s and their rhymes (this copy is not one of the ones used in the movie)

It features many tracks which never made it to the film.

The musicians, lead by Chris Stein, also formed the basis for the Blondie band. So, besides the fact that Hip Hop and Punk came up around the same time, this is another reason why Blondie was such a big deal in the Hip Hop community. Fab 5 Freddy, who played a big part in this film, also appeared in the video for Blondie's Rapture. He's pictured on the back cover.

I'm the original owner and I bought this when it was released.
