Here is a little info about this record from an old auction, sorry for the plagiarism--deal with it dudes!!!!
"What is the rarest Wild Man Fischer recording? No, it's not An Evening With Wild Man Fischer with Frank Zappa, it is Larry Comes Alive. A live recording in Pontiac, MI in 1979.
The story of Larry Comes Alive:
Larry Comes Alive is an extremely rare 7" semi-official release documenting a 1979 Wild Man Fischer concert in Pontiac, Michigan. Glenn Johnson of Drums and Drummers writes:
On some of the songs, Larry is backed by the guitarist and bassist from his opening act, the Tulsa City Truckers (sorry I don't know their names), and drummer Glenn Johnson (then of Mr. Unique and the Leisure Suits), who had a broken leg and foot at the time. (that's me)
More info comes courtesy of Bob Zilli:
I was a partner of ATCX Records and am "the dog" listed in the credits. We recorded the show we promoted and released the Ep with Larrys consent, although he later claimed we did not have that agreement. We pressed 1000 of them sold maybe 200 and the rest have disappeared over time.I do not have it myself, although somewhere the master tapes exist along with some more material from that show.
