Description

This is the original deep-groove pressing of Wilbur Ware "The Chicago Sound" on the blue and silver reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 12-252. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with superficial inaudible patterning that is typical of records stored long-term in their original inner sleeves. Similarly, the laminated cover is in near-new condition, bright and clean throughout, with just 1/8" wear at the bottom right corner. Personnel includes Johnny Griffin, John Jenkins, Junior Mance, and Frank Dunlop.
