Description
WHITE SUMMER self titeled LP on private label. This is an ultra rare record. Reportedly only 500 copies were made. The record is used and has some issues. The jacket is in great shape with the plastc wrapper mostly intact. The record itself has a few light scratches. These scratches are somewhat audible when the record is played. There are some other pops is the music probably caused by some dirt in the grooves. The record is also warped in one area. The warp is not bad and does not cause a problem when played. The record plays without skips. The music has some really great guitar work on it. The record was purchased at the Blood Sweat & Tears and White Summer concert Sept. 2, 1977 at the House of David Park in Benton Harbor Michigan. The billboard from this concert is available on another ebay listing.
The record was produced by Bryce Roberson and recorded at Uncle Dirty's Sound machine Studio in Kalamazoo Michigan January 1976. The performers are:
Jimmy Watkins - Lead vocals, drums, percussion
Rick Lowe - Electric and acoustic Guitar, vocals
David Wheeler - Bass Guitar, vocals
This is an ultra rare record was obtained from the estate of Don Lane who produced the Sept. 2, 1977 Blood Sweat & Tears and White Summer concert.
The condition of this record is not great but the music is still great.
