Original 1960 release, Atlantic Records (TL-ST-135).
Unbelievable, one-of-a-kind sampler of two legendary artists from two different musical poles.
The unique feature of this sampler LP is that before each Led Zeppelin song, there is a man's voice that appears and has a short advertisement of each song before play. This same voice is also featured on the Dusty Springfield side of the LP.
It is so cool to hear the narrator ham it up with verbal introductions between tracks like, "You are listening to the Led Zeppelin and they are gonna leave you 'Dazed and Confused'," or "You'll be flying high with the Led Zeppelin" and before the song "Your Time Is Gonna Come," he says "The Led Zeppelin will take you on a trip you will never forget," and then the song begins to play.
