Description
Up for auction is a PRISTINE copy of jazz guitarist Wes Montgomery's "Movin' Along" with James Clay, Victor Feldman, Sam Jones, and Louis Hayes, out on Riverside RLP342 from 1960. This is the original MONO, "deep groove" pressing of this album, and is a promotional copy, as seen from the orange stamp on the top of the back cover.
Sleeve: NM, with no ringwear, no discoloration, no spine splits, a tiny amount of dog-earring on the spine, absolutely unmarked except for the "Promotional Copy" stamp on the top of the back cover and one line of blue ink stating the date received.
Record: M-, I think it's highly likely that this record was never played. There are no indications around the spindle hole that it has been loaded onto a record player, and no scratches, scuffs, needle trails, or other signs of wear are present except what may have existed in the original pressing itself.
This is an absolutely PRISTINE copy of this album.
I am a university professor of music here in the US who inherited this and other records from a collector a few years back. I am looking to sell off some of these records to collectors/audiophiles who can get more enjoyment out of them than I can.
