Description
Wayne Shorter on Blue Note 4219
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped mono pressing of Wayne Shorter “The All Seeing Eye” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BLP 4219. The playing surface appears to be MINT, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated N.Y. 10023 cover is bright and clean throughout; slight ring wear on the front; the top seam shows rubbing/superficial flaking towards the spine and a 2 ½” split at the opening; the bottom seam also shows rubbing/superficial flaking towards the spine and 1” wear at the opening. Personnel include Freddie Hubbard, Alan Shorter, Grachan Moncur III, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, and Joe Chambers.
