This auction is for a VERY RARE HARD TO FIND LP Record: Walt Disney World Band Buena Vista Records Stereophonic Marching Band. Near Mint Condition. Record is Bright. Sleeve is in Excellent Condition with very minor edgewear.  Extremely RARE.

An exciting, vibrant 20 piece marching band that adds the pleasurable dimension of lively music and colorful parades to everyone's stay at Walt Disney World's "Vacation Kingdom" in Florida. The Walt Disney World Band plays Disney Character shows every enjoyment-filled day as its friendly way of saying "welcome" and "Happy You're here" to the thousands of daily arriving guests. The on-the-go musicians march in two daily Character Parades, play two concerts which include such varied musical fare as John Philip Sousa marches, turn-of-the century oldies, Disney Classic Favorites, and comic arrangements of today's top show tunes. The multi-talented music men are able to perform almost any type of music with many varied instrumentations. For example: the woodwind section may be featured on a number with 8 piccolos, then switch to 8 clarinets, then go to 8 saxophones. You have to hear them to believe them! And you will, when you listen to these recorded selections by the Walt Disney World Band. The band boasts a tuba duo, quartets of trumpets and trombones, plus a two man percussion section that segues smoothly from a snare drum to a set of chimes. The Walt Disney World Band brings each memorable day at the "Vacation Kingdom"to a stirring close with the very moving flag lowering ceremony in Town Square. Band Director James Christensen, in describing the Versatile Disneyland and Walt Disney World Musicians, says "We're a show band. Everybody not only plays music, but is sort of onstage. We're actors as much as musicians.
