Ultra Rare DJ Promo Copy with Advisory Sticker
BE SURE YOU READ THIS! This is a promotional monaural copy for designed for DJ use. NOTE: This is not the same release as r13467941. The RSD 2019 release is a mono PA mix, whereas this is a mono mix from the multi-tracks for broadcast use. It is in a standard stereo jacket but is distinguished by a sticker stating that it is a monaural promo copy. The labels are Cotillion white promo labels (see below) with the "Stereo" designation omitted and the records have matrix numbers that are DIFFERENT than other promo copies (listed below). This copy is also distinguished by the white "advisory" sticker on the front and back.

WHITE LABEL PROMO LPs are records pressed and distributed by record labels for promotion, not for retail sale. They’re a core category for collectors because they often represent the earliest, cleanest, or most direct versions of an album, or in this case, sometimes not the exact same content as the retail edition. They are cut from earliest master tapes and pressed in smaller numbers, have bBetter QC at the plant and is why audiophiles prize them. They are usually stamped or printed with “PROMOTION,” “NOT FOR SALE,” or “AUDITION COPY”, issued free to radio stations, reviewers, distributors, and industry insiders, and were never meant to reach the public. Some advance / pre-release promos may include alternate mixes, different track order, unedited versions.

    Tracklist: It should be noted that this was pressed at a time when multi-albums were made for those record players with a stacking spindle, so sides one, two, and three, are actually on separate discs, unlike now when sides one and two would be on the same disc.

It is an extremely RARE copy, and few like this exist. Some have the DJ sticker, some have the "advisory". Almost NONE have both!

Like all the albums I offer, this one has been PLAY TESTED, and all three albums are in excellent condition, devoid of any scratches or skips, no spiderwebbing to the spindle-hole; in fact, until I played them, I doubt they had ever been played. They are clean with no surface noise, in immaculate condition (sides two and three have a non shiny strip on the first track, but the music or tracking is unaffected!) There were generic inner sleeves when I obtained it which I chucked and added a rice-paper innersleeve (as paper is just awful) instead.

The jacket shows extremely minimal shelfwear and it has been placed in a resealable outer sleeve for protection from an further damage. I really hate to let this one go, but I really need to start winding down. (see below)

Needless to say, everyone's system is different. That said, I cannot account for what you will experience during playback, but on MY system, it played exactly as described above. It is sold as-is.
