Add’’l Comments:  SUPER RARE BLUES 45!  THIS IS WOODROW ADAMS WITH BOOGIE BLUES BLASTERS ON THE INCREDIBLY RARE METEOR LABEL # 5018.

I AM GRADING THE VINYL AT GOOD +.  THE VINYL STILL RETAINS MOST OF ITS ORIGINAL LUSTER.  THE RECORD SHOWS OVERALL MODERATE STORAGE/STACKING WEAR.  THE 45 PLAYS THROUGH GREAT WITH NO SKIPS ON EITHER SIDE, NO MARKS THAT CAN BE FELT.  THE AUDIO IS STRONG BUT THERE IS ALSO STATIC AND CRACKLE BACKGROUND NOISE, NOT OVERWHELMING, BUT IT IS THERE.  GREAT LOOKING LABELS WITH VERY SLIGHT AGE WEAR AND A SMALL AREA OF OLD TAPE RESIDUE ON BOTH SIDES.

WELL, THAT'S AS HONEST OF A DESCRIPTION AS I CAN GIVE - NOW, ALL THAT SAID, WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME ONE OF THESE SURFACED?  ONLY A HANDFUL ARE KNOWN TO BE IN EXISTANCE, SO NOW IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN THIS RARITY.  WE ARE STARTING IT AT A VERY LOW OPENING BID WITH NO RESERVE!

We grade all vinyl according to the Goldmine standards which are as follows:

Mint (M) - "These are absolutely perfect in every way."

Near Mint (NM) - "it looks like it just came from a retail store and was opened for the first time." NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers, or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any spindle marks from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable.

Very Good Plus (VG+) - These records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated play has not misshaped the center hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticed.

Very Good (VG) - These records have more obvious flaws. The lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches, deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, perhaps even an occasional audible light scratch, especially in soft passages and during a song’’s intro and ending.

Lesser grades such as Good (G), Good Plus (G+), or Very Good Minus (VG-) will be addressed at time of listing.
