WIZ JONES
THE LEGENDARY ME
1970 UK VILLAGE THING VTS-4
A-1 & B-1
Very rare original 1970 UK 'Wizz Jones' album pressed on the small 'Village Thing' underground record label. This is one of his rarest and hardest to find original uk albums and it very rarely surfaces for sale. This copy is in very good condition, it plays very well with a nice sound quality but with some noticeable surface noise. The front laminated single cover is also very good with some creasing and wear but no splits or rips.
VINYL = VG to VG+
The thick 1st press vinyl is mainly clean but with some random surface markings/scuffs and a few light to mild scratches on both sides. On side-1 on tracks 2 & 4 there is a small fuzzy patch on each, this causes some medium sounding dull tics and some light hiss on track 2 and just some very light background hiss during playback on track 4. It looks like these two small fuzzy patches may have been caused by somebody trying to remove something from the vinyl surface. The surface noise that they cause really isn't that bad, there are no very loud clicks or pops and certainly no attempts to stick or jump, the rest of the album plays with some other areas of light background tics and also some occasional light background hiss and crackle but the sound quality is still very good. This is still a pretty good playing copy of this increasing rare and hard to find 1970 uk 'Wizz jones' album.
LABELS = EX
Both Village Thing labels are in excellent clean condition with no marks or wear.
SLEEVE = VERY GOOD
The front laminated single sleeve was printed in the UK by West Brothers and grades as very good condition. There are some small lamination creases and some very small narrow areas of blistering along the spine and edges and also a few small lamination lines near the opening edge. There is some light storage wear to the matt black back cover and a few tiny sticker tears right near the bottom edge. The spine has a few tiny cracks but all text is clear and easy to read. The top and bottom edges are fine with barely any traces of wear at all.
All pictures provided are of the actual album for sale.

P&P/SHIPPING
I pack my records very well. The vinyl and inner sleeve will be removed from the outer cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending. This album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
