This was the Beatles second album, first released on November 22nd 1963 in mono form. The record for sale here is the Mono version.

The typical Parlophone label on this record is from the 1960's. It has a black label with "PARLOPHONE" in yellow.

There are a number of varieties of this album's label and cover and some are quite rare. There are 3 different variations of the mono record's label.

This record's 'deadwax' information:

The deadwax on this record is impressed with: -
Side 1: XEX 447-1N
Side 2: XEX 448-1N
This shows that the record for sale here is the first pressing of this record.

The label and record cover variations of this record (see photos below):

(1) The song title, "YOU REALLY GOT A HOLD ON ME" is misspelt as, "YOU REALLY GOTTA HOLD ON ME".

(2) The song, "MONEY" is incorrectly credited to the publishers, "JOBETE" instead of to, "DOMINION, BELINDA (LDN.) LTD."

(3) The photo of the Beatles on the cover is very dark and you can't really make out the left eyes of any of them. This cover has printed on its back, "Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patents pending PMC 1206 PCS 3045" Future covers made this photo lighter.

As you can see this is a original pressing first edition and this record was recently delivered personally from a collector living England to the U.S>, no other owners have had this but one and it has been kept meticulously well and is in great shape. It is in VG++ condition, has one light mark on Side 2 but super clean otherwise. The cover also in in VG++ condition. MADE and Printed in Great Britain on rear cover.
