The cover is still nice and clean, with maybe the lightest of ageing to the white parts of the cover. The laminate is still very shiny, and the spine is still clearly readable. There are no seem splits or writing to the cover. There is a small tear to the front cover opening edge, measuring roughly 1.25" which has been sellotaped. And there are 3 other small tears measuring 0.5", 0.25", and the final one even smaller. There is just 1 tear on the back cover opening edge, measuring roughly 1", and has also been sellotaped. The laminate on the front cover has started to peel around these tears, but it is not a lot. Still a brilliant cover, and one that any Jazz collector would cherish.
Vinyl Condition: LOOKS GOOD+, PLAYS VG+ TO EX

...as I am sure you can tell, this copy plays and sounds brilliant! What great clarity throughout. Really crisp and clear. A true testament to the quality of the pressing.
We could spend ages telling you about how the record sounded, but you can hear for yourself! We would say it sounded between VG+ and excellent, and there were no skips or jumps. The music was still very clean, and was a very enjoyable listen. There is some light crackle, and there seems to bit very slight distortion in places, but the vast majority is clear. There is some clicks and pops, as to be expected. Please take the time to listen to the album completely before purchasing.
Visually, the vinyl does show some age. We have given the vinyl a deep clean on our Moth Record Cleaning Machine, and it retains a lovely shine. There are light surface marks, and some small scratches. There is 1 prominent scratch to side 1, starting at the end of track 2, and going through track 3 and just into the runout grooves. We would grade the vinyl conservatively at GOOD+ visually.
Both labels have some very light age staining spots, but no tears or writing, and just a handful of light spindle traces. All in all, a very nice copy of a stupendously rare album, and one really not to be missed.
