Description
WILLIE HUTCH – Season for Love (1969) RCA-4296 – VG/M- (cover/vinyl)
The second solo album by Willie Hutch, and a very rare one at that. Killer soul by one of the true masters of the genre early in his career.
This copy has beautiful vinyl and a cover with some defects. The cover has some heavy radio station writing on the front and back covers “KNSU” in black marker as well as some other small writing and tape on the bottom seam in the middle and a drill hole in the top right corner and a promo stamp on the back upper left corner. RCA didn’t make promo label albums, but this was definitely at a radio station. The nice thing is that the vinyl is super clean and glossy and looks unplayed. It’s the thick non-dynaflex orange original pressing. I grade this conservatively: VG/M- (cover/vinyl)
This is an original pressing. I do not sell modern reissues
A NOTE ABOUT MY DESCRIPTIONS: The appreciation of music is a relative thing. The descriptions I write about albums and music is purely my own opinion. Yours may be different. Please don’t rely solely upon my description as your gospel. There is an abundance of information online about pretty much every album ever recorded. Please do additional online research about an album’s musical style if you are unsure. Also, I take many photos of every album I sell, so please look at all of them to confirm my grading – it is all visual. I have been collecting and selling records for 30+ years, so I do have some experience. The majority of what I’m selling now comes from my personal collection as I am downsizing what I have accumulated.
