Years ago DUTCH DECCA Records issued a small quantity of WHITE VINYL as a limited edition of the 1967 Rolling Stones legendary "Satanic Majesties Request"... being the Stones most psychedelic album, loaded with stoned effects (wrabled vocals treatments) and trippy mixes within the great melodics, delivered only as the STONES could in their answer to the Beatles Sgt Peppers Lp...
The white vinyl version is only gttting harder to find by the day, a great investment item as well as top flight collectible....
Without a doubt, no Rolling Stones album -- and, indeed, very few rock albums from any era -- split critical opinion as much as the Rolling Stones' psychedelic outing. Many confess of a fascination with the album's inventive arrangements, which incorporated some African rhythms, Mellotrons, trippy sound effects and full arrangements. Never before or since did the Stones take so many chances in the studio. The material is very strong, particularly the glorious "She's a Rainbow," with its beautiful harmonies, piano, and strings; the riff-driven "Citadel"; the hazy, dream-like "In Another Land," Bill Wyman's debut writing (and singing) credit on a Stones release; and the majestically dark and doomy cosmic rocker "2000 Light Years From Home," with some of the creepiest synthesizer effects (devised by Brian Jones) ever to grace a rock record. The psychedelic jam "Sing This All Together (See What Happens)." is an infectious sing-along with a host of friends (ala The Beatles and others)... It's a much better record than some people give it credit for being, though, with a strong current of creeping uneasiness that undercuts the gaudy psychedelic flourishes. In 1968, the Stones would go back to the basics, and never wander down these paths again, making this all the more of a fascinating anomaly in the group's discography.

The cover fragile and delicate European style is M- clean and solid over both sides... No seam splits, no writing ...looks like a collection keeper....
The vinyl ...is M- CLEAN... both sides are highly glossy, expect both sides to play very enjoyable (CLEAN) with no problems.
