WHITE STRIPES

Let's Shake Hands / Look Me Over Closely

Italy Records (003) 1997

First single by future world rock conquerors The White Stripes. Came out in an edition of 500 in 1997. Second pressing a few years later was on black vinyl. This is the original - bought at Car City Records in Sinclair Shores just outside of Detroit. Kept safely in storage until now.

Includes insert with a quote from George Washington, supposedly clipped by Jack White and put into select copies of this pressing.

Red vinyl is in NM condition. This record was played a couple of times and has been in storage ever since. Labels are perfect, vinyl is pristine.

Foldover cover is a strong VG+ with small creases on two corners.

Insert is in EX condition.

RECORD GRADING

 We grade conservatively, and aim to describe the records accurately. We grade visually according to Goldmine standards. We use an Excellent grade for the hazy grey area between Near Mint and VG+. This grade applies to records with one minor flaw that makes it no longer Near Mint, but still above VG+.
