Description
Wedge--Wedge--RI3597. Very Rare 1972 prog-rock release from Baltimore. This is an original private pressing, one of 500 copies. Vinyl is VG. Disc has light scratches and marks. Record has a manufacturing defect. It appears that the spindle hole is just a bit off-center. This causes the stylus to track toward the label during each rotation for the beginning portion of each side. Nevertheless, the record plays through fine. Textured cover has the group's name stamped on the front cover. Some of the covers came without the stamp. The seams and spine have some wear, primarily the corners. Upper right seam has abut a 3/8" seam split and the lower right is split about 1". Both splits are due to edge wear from inserting and removing the vinyl from the cover. Back cover has a 3 1/2" horizontal crease at top, left and some white smudges at bottom, center. The labels are clean. The original insert is included; it has some minor creases and grades VG. Original copies of this record seldom surface and are quite obscure.
