I'm now EIGHT YEARS into selling my immense collection of 1990s independent label ORIGINAL PROMO POSTERS, VINYL, CASSETTES, FLYERS & POSTCARDS. Most are from my hoard acquired whilst in the independent record/music business.

NOW I'm adding my (usually) MINT UNPLAYED VINYL FROM THE 1980s & 1990s to my fortnightly listings. Record shop fresh, stored for decades. Independent labels, guitar bands, and electronica (IDM, EDM) my speciality.

FEATURES: White label test pressing of original UK issue. This is the actual record that was used in house at the Rough Trade Distribution sales office when they were doing the pre-sales for the album (phoning shops to generate orders to be delivered on the day of release 12/10/87). It was then given to me as I ran a specialist indie shop in London. I put a date stamp on one of the labels (1/10/87), which was the day I received it, and played it in store until the week of release. Intending to keep it forever I put it in a finished sleeve and inner sleeve from stock and then into a promo carrier bag to create a unique package. No writing on either of the white labels. 
VINYL CONDITION: USED with some light surface marks. Note: the apparent marks on the photo of the vinyl are actually my reflection! 
SLEEVE CONDITION: Some signs of storage & handling including some indentations around George's head that can only be seen if light reflects at a certain angle, and some small spine breaks. No edge wear (top/bottom/spine) and no ring wear. Still glossy with very little handling as has been stored in the bag since I finished playing it in the shop (1987). 
INNER SLEEVE: Original picture inner in excellent condition with minor ring wear.
PROMO BAG CONDITION: UNUSED (so the handles are fully intact) but has suffered in storage with lots of creasing and some damage above the 'the' on the Wedding Present side resulting in three small holes. No cuts, tears, or seam splits or other holes. 
OTHER NOTES: The white label record on its own is very rare (I can find no evidence online of it being offered for sale for over five years). Adding to it the now very rare promo bag and the standard original sleeve and inner sleeve, this is being offered as a unique package. This is my only one.

WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSINGS: Produced for the record label in very small quantities (sometimes as few as 10) to check that there are no faults in the mastering or pressing processes. Sometimes there are enough pressed for promo purposes (typically around 50-100).

GUARANTEE: I HAVE A MAXIMUM 5 OUT OF 5 RATING FOR 'ACCURATE DESCRIPTION'! However if you feel that your item doesn't match the written description and photographs please contact me to arrange return and refund (including postage costs). 

NOTE: I am the first and only owner of everything I list unless stated otherwise. All photos are my own and photographed on a purple/blue background for easy identification. 

PACKAGING: Record(s) will be removed from any printed sleeves (including inners) before packing in a strong cruciform mailer. Additional plain white paper die cut sleeves will be supplied if not already included.

POSTAGE: 

The postage & packing charge for this item is the same or less than what it costs for stamps, packaging, and a minimum of 13.5% of the p&p charge taken by eBay & Paypal (yes, they really do that!).

If your postage & packing fee doesn’t cover the cost of the postal service appropriate to the value of this item I will pay for a FREE UPGRADE so that your order is always fully insured.

Orders up to £20: Royal Mail Second Class or Hermes Courier (UK) or Royal Mail International Standard (rest of the world). Proof of posting will be retained.

UK orders over £20 and up to £50: Royal Mail Second Class Signed For (fully insured).
