WEBN Cincinnati Album Project 2, vinyl LP, 1977
Never opened, still in shrinkwrap (which is why I had to photo it at such an odd angle, to avoid glare).
WEBN did a wonderful thing for local Cincinnati artists with their album projects. Locals were invited to submit recordings of themselves, and the “best” were chosen to appear on these vinyl discs. They received local air play and recognition, and the proceeds from the sales went to the United Appeal. The music is a good mix of different styles, from hard rock to humor to almost folksy. This album features the following tunes and artists:

This cover shows the WEBN mascot Frog, and it has a Swallens price sticker, from a now extinct local department store. This isn’t just good music, it’s a piece of Cincinnati history. Induct this rare album into your Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame with your bid. Thanks!
