Description
Up for auction is the very first 45-record by Folk/Pop-duo WATERLOO & ROBINSON, later well known for their participation in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1976. Released in 1970/71 on the little progressive Amadeo-sublabel 'Atom' these two tracks feature some really stunning Psychedelic Folk arrangements. If you’ve ever heard their rather commercial outputs (to put it mildly) of later years it’s hard to believe that we're dealing with the same band. But we are. 'Du kannst sehen' was also included on the great 'T-Shirt-LP' along with other fine Psychedelic Pop-tracks by ELEGY, SCHÖNHERZ, ACID, HIDE & SEEK or TURNING POINT. Still uncomped and I really can't see why. A great & totally unknown Mod-DJ-favourite of the future and a very hard to find item!
Record and cover are in great VG++-condition. Only flaw is a 1,5cm x 2 cm price sticker-rip on the backside. HAVE A LISTEN TO THE SOUND SAMPLES!
