Description
Up for bid are 2 legendary New York City Hardcore 7" records. I can no longer store these for fear my children will destroy them, so you have been selected as the next caretaker, provided you win the auction.
The records are as follows:
WARZONE: LOWER EAST SIDE CREW This is the definitive Revelation 7" #1 copyright 1987. I am not sure what pressing this is, but it is black vinyl. The matrix says "Yo bo" on one side and "LES crew" on the other. Bought used, it is a little banged up. Not terrible, but definitely not mint. Pair this with some red heels and nice belt and you'll be the belle of the ball.
COLLAPSE: S/T Some kind of fan reissue here from HLH records. Featured Sergio Vega on bass who later went on to play for Quicksand and currently the Deftones. Buy this, if not for anything, for the fact that "Failure?" is hands-down one of the best hardcore songs to come out of the Big Apple. Side one is Don Fury demos, Side Two is live from the Pyramid 1989.
In the eighties I was an avid collector, picking up many LP and 7" records at the legendary Anthrax club in Connecticut as well as Trash American Style. The records here are in good condition. Safely stored in a smoke-free home for many years. They are rare, they are out of print. You know you want them.
