WARNING VINTAGE 45 SINGLE OL ROSS, OLE MISS AND JFK B/W FREE RIDE BY REBEL DAVIS

Warning, if you are sensitive and unable to look at our history, stop here and move on.  I do not want to be called names, but I found a very interesting single today.  Some people might argue I should burn it, donate it to a museum, keep it for myself, or who knows.  The record company is called Dixie-Aire out of Meridian, Mississippi, the 45 was published in 1962, the name of the band is Rebel Davis with Big Joe and the Starliners, and the name of the single is Ol' Ross, Ole Miss, and JFK, b/w Free Ride.
For those who may not know, Ol' Ross refers to Ross Robert Barnett, who was Governor of Mississippi from 1960-1964.  Ole Miss, University of Mississippi, was integrated in September of 1962 when Army veteran James Meredith attempted to enroll.  JFK, and his brother Robert, sent 500 U.S. Marshals to accompany Mr. Meredith during his arrival and registration.
If I wanted to, I could write a short dissertation concerning the founding of America, the first great compromise that resulted in the United States Constitution, which counted African Americans as less than a full human being, how the first President Johnson bungled President Lincoln's plans for reconstruction.  How the Klan was the military arm of the Democratic Party, eventually discussing Brown versus the Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas.  But I won't.....
This song is written from a segregationist viewpoint, praising the Governor and discounting the actions of President Kennedy.  There are no defamatory remarks against Mr. Meredith, nor did I hear any racial slurs.....but let's be honest......Rebel Davis is a bit narrow minded, hopefully, he and Big Joe and the rest of the Starliners have seen the error of their ways....... 
The B side, "Free Ride" is an instrumental with a country/rockabilly flavor.
I rated the single as VG+, I heard no major pops, hisses, or any other strange noises, but I'm not an audiophile.  The sleeve is just a generic sleeve.  
This 45 is an example of an error that is long gone, and hopefully will never return.
