Not only an original United States Mono pressing of the first Wanda Jackson album, but a copy with the front of the jacket hand signed by Wanda! The cover reads “Love! Wanda Jackson” written in a black sharpie type marker. We were not present when this autograph was made but the signature is assumed to be genuine and authentic. This LP includes DAY DREAMING, I WANNA WALTZ, LET’S HAVE A PARTY and nine other songs. Comes with its original Capitol Records company inner sleeve.
COVER: The jacket is clean and beautiful with just a small amount of light surface wear. The things keeping it from grading an exceptionally strong VG+ are a 4 inch top right seam split and a 1 inch bottom right seam split. The top seam also has some light cracking towards the left side. The color on the front is crisp and vivid. This jacket would display very nicely.
VINYL: One of the cleanest and most well preserved copies of this LP we have seen in a very long time. The vinyl retains almost all of its original glossy luster and looks like it has had only a small number of plays. The one thing preventing it from grading EX+ (and not far from NM) is a thin 1/2 inch light scratch on Side 1 that can just lightly be felt on the grooves.
