NEW/UNPLAYED/MINT CONDITION BOXSET!! Sir Georg Solti's original recording of Wagner's cycle of 4 operas that make up the "Ring of the Nibelungen",presented here in a lavish box containing 19LPs. Each of the 4 operas is contained in a separate box within the outer casing. Believe it or not,none of the records have ever been played! I purchased this set many years ago but due to various circumstances,never got round to playing it. You will not find another brand new/unplayed version of this on vinyl.....the set is therefore in IMMACULATE condition,having been stored very carefully. The individual boxes have never been removed from the casing. This edition marks the pinnacle of Decca's opera recordings supervised by John Culshaw. The individual operas and artists performing therein are as follows: Das Rheingold: George London,Kirsten Flagstad,Claire Watson,Eberhard Waechter,Walter Kreppel,Ira Malaniuk.
