Description
For your consideration is a rare original 1973 Venezuelan pressing of the progressive rock masterpiece "La Ofrenda De Vytas" by Vytas Brenner on the Yare label.
This record was the first (and by all accounts, the best) of Vytas Brenner's illustrious career. It masterfully combines progressive rock stylings, analog Moog synthesizers and traditional Venezuelan folk music. It has never been surpassed in beauty and musicality. A true desert island pick! I can honestly say this is one of the finest recordings of all time .No kidding!
It is useful to point out that "La Ofrenda De Vytas" was recorded using Neumann tube microphones, Fairchild compressors and vintage consoles for that gorgeous analog warmth that has to be heard to be believed! The 1999 CD reissue sounds dark and cold by comparison!
This particular pressing is in NM- condition. Extremely nice gloss and shine. Labels are free from marks also.
The classic Dilcia Galea gatefold cover is VG+ with some shelf wear on the spine due to age. No splits, stains or markings of any kind.
