1Y//1 and 2Y//1 indicate a very first pressing.
Subsequent 1972 releases show 1Y//2 and 2Y//2.
Cover: EX+
Exceptional condition. There are some tiny bumps to the corners
and the front has some light scuffing. There is also a gentle crease
and a half-ring impression, but zero wear. The inner pages are
like new and securely in place. Inner GF corners are perfectly square.
There are no corner creases, splits, or tears. No writing, or shelf wear.
Vinyl: NM-
Under fluorescent lighting... very light surface lines.
Labels: NM
A few light spindle marks.
- Does not show 'Made In England' on Side B.
- The 'E' in the 'Side B' text lines up with the number 3 above it.
Both of these features are only seen on the very first pressing.
Inner: EX-
Original Vertigo inner. Shows natural aging. No splits or tears.
Vinyl Playback: EX
The audio is exceptional. Minimal passive surface noise.
On track 'FX', which contains a lot of dead silence, the surface
noise, while there, is not intrusive. The record plays beautifully.
Audio Play Grade: 9/10
'Vol 4' ... first pressing in top condition.
