Description

Down Homers: Baby, I Found Out All About You/Boogie Woogie Yodel.  Playing grade condition E.  Standard N-E-V-G-F-P system like in VJM and Dock's.  Photos look fine from a modest distance but have some scratches.  Nothing serious.  No pictures because, for 78 records, one picture is not worth a thousand words.  Even worse with LPs because you cannot see any groove issues.  The naked eye wins.  Been selling for 60 years but not recently as my time is often consumed with the Tribute to Bix fest in Racine, WI. and I'm getting old.  See www.bixfest.com for hilarious 2012 event this past March.  Always money back with no questions asked, so don't whine, just bid.

Side 1 photo  is cowboy and gal embracing outside a dance hall with some dude inside observing them.  Must be the guy in the title.  Side 2 photo has cowboys out in the desert.  Photos are E, meaning some small scratches but not noticeable like if hanging on wall or 3 or 4 feet away.  Photo grading is same system as for books and 78rpm records.  See above.  Most collect Vogues for the photos.  Don't know anyone who plays 'em except me, if a female vocalist is featured.  I collect hot 1920's jazz and hot dance and 20's-30's gal vocalists.  I think Vogues were issued around 1946.  I  have the definative booklet on this at home but don't know where.  You can hook a few here on the cheap.  Good luck.

Anyone know Rose Snow?  Nice looking gal who was a big Vogue collector.  Twenty years ago I saw her collection in Itasca, IL.  She then moved to California.  Where?  She wore lovely darker red lipstick.  The only kind for me.
