Description
You are bidding on a Vogue The Picture Record V100 Box Set called Study in Blue containing R725 & R726 by The Hour Of Charm All Girl Orchestra under the direction of Phil Spitalny. This double record set comes in a sturdy blue binder containing The Story of "The Hour of Charm" and 2 picture records. Songs on R725 are Alice Blue Gown (matrix #P-63-4) and Rhapsody in Blue Part 1 (matrix #P61-2AA). Songs on R726 are Blue Skies (matrix #P64-1CA) and Rhapsody in Blue Part 2 (matrix #P62-1FA). Colors are bright and vibrant. Vinyl is in excellent condition with only minor marks and NO chips or cracks. Cover has a few dings and inside paper sleeves are split. These records are unique in the method they were manufactured. Starting with a metal plate, picture applied, vinyl poured and grooves cut. Made by Sav Way Industries of Detroit Michigan for only 2 years 1946-1947. The are almost unbreakable. Thanks for looking and bidding.
