The Vogue Picture Record R725 and R726 features George Gershwin's iconic "Rhapsody In Blue" in a multicolor vinyl format. Released circa 1945 by Vogue Records, these 10" records play at 78 RPM and are considered excellent condition. This single picture disc showcases the intersection of classical jazz and blues, making it a prized possession for music collectors and enthusiasts interested in the unique blend of Gershwin's compositions. Made in the United States, this limited edition vinyl record captures a piece of musical history.


Vogue picture discs from the 1940s were not made from standard shellac—instead, they used a unique construction featuring an aluminum core, a paper illustration, and an outer layer of clear vinyl or vinylite as the recording surface.
