All Grading is visual for Vogue records.

  • Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way, un-played or still sealed.
  • Near Mint (NM): A nearly perfect record. The vinyl surfaces should show no obvious signs of wear. The jacket should have a clean appearance
  • VG++: Better than VG+ but not as good as a near mint record. Very clean appearance vinyl surfaces.
  • Very Good Plus (VG+): Lightly used / played. Vinyl surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that  shouldn't affect the playback.
  • Very Good (VG): Many of the signs of wear found in a VG+ record will be more pronounced in a VG record. Surface noise will be evident during playback. Has noticeable groove wear, may have light scratches (that could be deep enough to feel with a fingertip) that will affect the sound.
  • Good (G): The record can be put onto a turntable and be played through without skipping, but it will have significant surface noise and scratches and visible groove wear.
