Here it is! One of the most sought after and brilliant library records ever to grace my platter! So sought after infact...that certain Japanese labels have been bootlegging it like crazy. For those not up on scat vocal classis then I'll give you the lodown! 'Hot Heels' is just classic scat - Barbara Moore on amazing form. Its a great jazzy dancer that really grooves - Its so good that Jazzman reissued it a while back. 'Steam Heat' is a sublime slow porno funker! Really sultry hot vocals just slide over a brilliant exotic groove.
'Voice Force Nine' is just classic dancefloor scat. 'Shades-Tones' is my kind of track. Lush and slow - incredibly epic in feel and it just oozes class. 'I'm Feather' is the Vocal Shades track I hear played out the most - Another tight little jazzy dancer that hits the spot! 'Take Off' is anothe big track. Bright and funky - again with some brilliant organ touches that compliment the beautiful vocals.
This is brilliant stuff and its essential for all those scat lovers! My last copy and I'm really sad to see it go. The vinyl is very very clean.
