Viotti Violin Concertos 22 & 23 Lola Bobesco Redel Dutch Japanese Philips FG-5052
Lola Bobesco with the Rhine Palatinate National Philharmonia conducted by Kurt Redel plays the “Violin Concerto’s No’s 22 and 23” of Viotti . A Dutch stereo pressing on the Philips Label (FG-5052), this edition has a cover pressed in Holland, but with Japanese text on the back - Bobesco was very popular in Japan. The record, apart from a few minor scuffs, is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with a minimum of surface noise. The cover, pressed in Holland for the Japanese market, is excellent.
